Fans of the popular BBC series “The Other Bennet Sister” can get a sneak peek of what’s in store for the upcoming Christmas special. The first image, released recently, captures a tender scene of Mary Bennet, portrayed by Ella Bruccoleri, and Tom Hayward, played by Donal Finn, engaged in a romantic picnic. This special will continue the narrative journey of the Bennet family, focusing on the third daughter, Mary, as she embarks on her new chapter as a married woman.
Inspired by Jane Austen’s enduring classic, “Pride and Prejudice,” the show has captivated audiences, drawing over 7 million viewers during its initial run. The series mainly follows Mary’s life and the social challenges she faces in Regency England, a period setting distinctively brought to life in captivating Welsh landscapes, including Merthyr Mawr and the Gower Peninsula.

The upcoming episodes promise to reunite fans with many familiar faces, including Ruth Jones reprising her role as the often critical Mrs. Bennet.
